Background

h2ope was formed in 2007 as a Community Interest Company, a social enterprise

We started with a team of two and have now built up a team of five experienced people accountable to a Board of Directors. We are funded by ethical investors.

Our values, however, have remained the same. Our business is to generate renewable energy through small scale hydro, create ethical investment opportunities and explore and develop both community involvement and community benefit from hydro electricity.
