Is the river weir in good condition – water spilling over it evenly across its width with the masonry, brick or concrete abutments, facings and apron all intact.
Height of weir 1.5m or greater
Is the weir at least approximately 1.5m high?
Drop in the river water level
Is there a drop in the river water level caused by a river weir or a natural fall in the water at the points where my land abuts the river?
Electrical Sub Station
Electrical connection nearby. Is there a nearby 3 phase electrical connection (overhead or underground lines or a nearby substation)
Accessible for construction traffic
Is there good access for construction vehicles to the site and is there sufficient space to set up a construction compound next to the river?
Land adjecent
Do I own land that abuts directly up against a river or large stream?
